If you were forced or coerced into making false allegations as a child
If you know which police department or agency was involved, report the crime immediately to the local or state police department that originally investigated the false allegation (or Contact the FBI if the case was in their jurisdiction). Inform them of the coercion that occurred when you were a child — if the individual who was falsely accused was also wrongfully incarcerated, it is vital that you come forward immediately to rectify this grave injustice.
If you don’t know which police department or agency was involved, start by calling your local police department and filing a report with them first — if they are unable to help you or act on your complaint, call your state police or the FBI and ask them to help you.
